WELCOME
Welcome to VA’s collection of art, antiques, adornments and more, spanning centuries, continents and artists from numerous traditions and beliefs. Vanishing Arts is excited to now feature the work of ground-breaking contemporary artists as part of our collection. Our latest Featured Artist is Anush Babayan, whose wonderful paintings offer a distinctly mystical view of the cosmos with thematic elements that draw from her Armenian cultural background and Christian heritage.
Featured Artist: Anush Babayan

Born in the capital city of Yerevan in 1954, Anush is a celebrated Armenian artist whose deeply evocative paintings blend mystical themes of the cosmos with contemporary insights and stylistic techniques. An accomplished scholar, she is an Associate Professor at Russian-Armenian University, where she has taught courses on art therapy, aesthetic communication and the philosophy of art for over 20 years.
Her highly sought after paintings employ the use of Chinese brushes and mineral paints on rice paper in an instantly recognizable style that merges philosophy, poetry and cosmic exploration. Her work has been exhibited in over 50 solo and group exhibitions across Armenia, Russia, France, the U.S., Italy, Switzerland, Canada, Lebanon and elsewhere. She is a proud member of both the International Foundation of Armenian Artists and the Union of Artists of Estonia.
