Tibetan turquoise is rare, valuable and is mined from specific areas in the Himalayas. Tibetans and Nepalese consider it a spiritual and religious prized possession, viewing it as the “sky stone” brought from the heavens to earth.  The stone itself is believed to be distinct and indigenous with inherent value and power.
