Lark Pilinsky’s view that the universe is a blend of real, surreal and fantasy, and time and space is represented here with mystical images, intense colors, and sweeping brush strokes. The bursting blues, greens and reds swirl across the canvas imbuing it with energy. The stable tree as a life source echoes the Tree of Life, a central theme and symbol in many cultures, and as here, represents life, growth, interconnectedness and the bridge between earthly and spiritual realms.
