Kalimantan

Kalimantan, also called Borneo is the third largest Island in the world composed of four regions: the north part including Sabah and Sarawak part of Malaysia and the Sultanate of Brunei; and Kalimantan, part of Indonesia which comprises 73% of the island. The indigenous peoples throughout Kalimantan are Dyak (Dayak), a European term for non-Malay inhabitants that speak many languages and have diverse cultures and traditions. Several of our masks are of Dyak origin.
