Majapahit

The Majapahit Empire is considered one of the greatest Southeast Asian empires in history. A Indianized Hindu-Buddhist kingdom in Southeast Asia that was based at its royal capital at Trowulan on the eastern part of the island of Java from 1293 to 1527, its territory covered present-day Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei and Southern Thailand and had close relations with China, Champa (South Vietnam), Cambodia and Annam (also Vietnam). Trowulan is now an archaeological site in the Indonesian province of East Java.
