Puja

Puja is ritual worship performed by Hindus, Buddhists and Jains to offer devotional reverence and prayer to one or more deities, honor guests or spiritually celebrate an event. Hindus commonly conduct pujas by making an offering of flowers or fruit to deities in shrines in temples, homes, and outdoor public spaces, ranging from brief daily rituals to elaborate temple ceremonies.
