The creation of renowned French-American multimedia artist and sculptor Pascal Giacomini, Giaco Guitars™ sculptures are uniquely playable works of art highly prized for both their musical and artistic merits. Technically, they are hybrid oil-can, solid body electric guitars.
This stand-out piece, “Fendi, the King of Jazz,” incorporates one of Giacomini’s original guitar sculptures into a larger work of 3-dimensional art that combines elements of musical instruments and vintage industrial components to pay homage to both jazz and rock ‘n’ roll.
The central component of the piece is a Giaco Guitar sculpture—the OK Guitar (07/100). Its upright guitar neck symbolizes Fender’s iconic guitars, with additional guitar bodies and musical motifs radiating upward from the base. Elements, including records, speakers and other instrument components, are integrated into a cohesive whole, creating a dynamic, layered effect.
Standing on a black circular metal base, the sculpture rises from a coiled metal spring, adding a sense of tension and rhythm to the piece. The mixed-media assemblage celebrates both the history of Fender guitars and the timeless influence of jazz music, embodying energy, movement and musical legacy.
Specs for the OK Guitar component of this sculpture include:
- Mahogany wood resonating chamber assembled under pressure (a signature Giacomini invention)
- Custom shop Telecaster neck
- Lindy Fralin pickups
- Gabriel Tenorio strings
- Hipshot Grip-Lock tuners
- Modified Telecaster gear
- Guitar is plek’d (expertly aligned for optimum playability)

The open back confirms it was consecrated by a Taoist priest. Mounted on a frosted acrylic stand.
