Description
Made in the rural areas of Rajasthan, India and heavily used over a long period of time, this nicely crafted and forged iron folk art pot was made for multiple functional purposes. Its wide handle allowed scooping water from a river and also to carry a rather heavy load. The hook attached to the handle made it work easily with a well’s rope pulley systemor to be hung over a fire for boiling water and cooking food. Hand forged this textured piece adds warmth to any room, especially filled with dried reeds.
