Hill Tribes refer to the seven ethnic groups – Akha, Lahu, Karen, Hmong, Yao, Lisu, and Paluang – that inhabit the high mountain regions of Northern and Western Thailand, including both sides of the border areas between northern Thailand, Laos and Burma.
