This magnificent Barry Brinker choker necklace has a pendant cross consisting of six round black natural freshwater pearls. The rolo style silver chain, suspension loop signed using the initials BB, and other components are made with 950 sterling silver and has his signature flame shaped clasp with his initials.
Description
This beautiful necklace is part of the VA Barry Brinker Vintage Collection consisting of jewelry made in the EARLY 2000S when his creations combined high grade 950 silver with antiquities or antiques, unique artifacts, gemstones, rare natural pearls and other treasures acquired during his travels. With his unique training in architecture, design and fine art, his pieces are hand-made, one-of-a-kind, personally designed and constructed in his studio in Bali. The pendant measures 3.5” and the rolo 950 silver chain of small round links is 15.5.” The hook closure has the Barry Brinker (BB) signature flame shaped tag as part of the clasp. The meaning of black pearls varies by culture, but it is known to be associated with and symbolize beauty, power, wealth and protection. BB’s current creations are singular works of art that are sold in select establishments such as Neiman Marcus.
